FAQ - For Partner Shops

Welcome to the Perifee network! Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about working with us under our consignment (depo-vente) model.

How does the Perifee consignment system work?

Consignment means you don’t purchase products upfront. Instead, you display and sell items in your shop, and only pay a commission when something sells. It’s a no-risk way to offer more variety to your customers without tying up your budget.

We provide you with a curated selection of Perifee products to sell in your shop. The products remain the property of Perifee until sold. You receive a min of 20% commission on each item sold.

Is consignment right for my shop?

If you're looking to expand your product range without the upfront cost of inventory, consignment is an ideal model. It’s especially valuable for concept stores, boutiques, and lifestyle shops that want to keep their selection fresh and curated.

What does it cost me to work with Perifee?

There are no monthly fees or setup costs. You receive a sales commission, which is set by the designer. The minimum commission is 20%, and many designers offer more.

Can I join Perifee if I don’t have an online store?

Yes — in fact, that’s the idea. Perifee is focused on physical retail, ecommerce websites are welcome. We help you stock products from independent designers and manage everything through our platform. You don’t need a webshop.

Can I work with designers in other countries?

Yes. While we are currently launching in Switzerland, designers from around the world can list their products. You’ll have access to an expanding catalog of curated products as our network grows.

Is any integration or setup required?

No. Perifee provides a mobile-friendly online tool to manage all consigned products — from listings to sales tracking. You’ll also have access to the Perifee Shop App, which automates inventory, sales, and reporting.

Can I see or adjust my commission rates?

You can’t set the commission yourself, but each designer defines the maximum commission they’re willing to offer — starting from a minimum of 20%. You’ll see the commission rate for every product before deciding to list it in your shop, so you can choose what aligns best with your positioning and audience.

How does the commission and invoicing work?

At the end of each month, you submit your sales data through the Perifee Shop Manager. We then issue an invoice for the total sales value minus your commission. Payment is due no later than the end of the first full week after receiving the invoice.

How do I report sales and inventory?

Sales and stock levels must be submitted at least once per month, no later than the last calendar day of the month, using the Perifee Shop Manager.

What if products are missing or damaged upon delivery?

Please check each delivery as soon as it arrives. Any missing or damaged items must be reported to Perifee within 2 business days.

Who is responsible for lost or damaged products in the shop?

You are responsible for the proper handling and safekeeping of the products. Any loss or damage that occurs while the products are in your possession (e.g. by customers, pets, or staff) may be charged to your shop. We recommend including them in your business insurance.

Can products be returned or exchanged?

Unsold products can be returned at the end of the partnership. Perifee may also choose to swap or collect products at any time.

How do I get new stock or marketing materials?

We update collections regularly. When new items are introduced or swaps are planned, we’ll reach out to you. Marketing materials (such as product displays, QR codes, or posters) are available digitally or upon request.

What if I want to end the partnership?

You can end the contract at any time with 30 days' written notice. All unsold items must be returned in good condition or made available for collection.

What happens if I miss a payment or don’t present the brand properly?

Perifee reserves the right to terminate the partnership immediately in case of missed payments or if the brand and products are not treated with care or properly presented in your shop.
